My friends and I went on the walking tour two weeks ago, and I wanted to commend our guide, Andy.  What a great story teller!

Also, I am attaching some interesting pictures we took during the tour (we actually captured some orbs on film).  One of friends -the skeptical, of course- couldn’t sleep that night after looking at the pictures she took with her own camera (most of these are hers).

This Website is absolutely amazing. It was very well done and contains so much information. I am taking my daughter to florida in november for a graduation present and i cannot wait to come to st. augustine and go on one of your tours. This site is truly one of the best ghost sites i have been on and i do research this alot.

II  took about 15 pictures on our tour last week with Scott. All were perfectly clear without questionable "imperfections."
I got one in the cemetery with significant orbs ....
then there was this one. I particularly enjoyed it since I am a pharmacist.

In addition to orbs, notice the curious flash on the door jam. Can you confirm if there might be a reflective item on the jam?
I do recall taking time (again because I enjoy pharmacy history) to concentrate on the building and entry, before and after the shot. I did not notice any flash or highlight at the time.

I just wanted to thank you guys for a wonderful experience during our vacation in Saint Augustine. We got a little spooked and had a lot of laughs. Me and my three daughters will never forget it and look forward to comming back soon. We did the walking tour and the pirate ship and got Andy both times and he is great! This was taken during the tour using a 35mm camera. My friend said he could feel something touching his head so I jokingly said let me snap a picture and maybe we will capture something. I clearly see a small orb over his head. This was on 10-15-05. You may use this and the previous photo I just sent on your website. Thanks, Angie

Hi, my name is Kathy. I am a native of St. Augustine. My part time hobby is to take Ghost pictures. I visit downtown at least once a week. Alot of times I get pictures with Orbs, Mists and different kinds of lights. On the evening of Thursday, September 22, about 8:30pm, a friend and I went to the Tolomato Cemetery to take some pictures. It was a clear and warm night so I really didnt think we were going to get much, but as I was standing in front of the gate taking pictures, I started getting the feeling that something was fixing to happen. I felt that if I didnt move away from the gate, it was going to get pushed at me. I also had the feeling that something was coming towards me. I started taking pictures with my digital camera and this is just one of the things that showed up. It looks to me like the figure of a woman in white. I took 7 back to back pictuers and the white figure showed up in 6 of them along with huge orbs all in the right hand corner of the picture. There was something else in the picture that I didnt notice until later that there was a black mass also. Its in all seven pictures except that in six of them it is in the right hand corner and in one of the other pictures, its in the left hand corner of the picture. After noticing how close it was to me that it must have been what had me thinking that I needed to move away from the gate. Sorry to say though, that the gate never moved. I went back to Tolomato Cemetery the following Thursday to see if It would show up again but all I got was still a bunch of orbs. Other then that, I got that same feeling I had last time except this time the feeling was to leave now, so I did. If by chance you would be interested in seeing all of the pictures, just let me know and I can bring them to your store.

Dear Ghostly Experience Staff,

 

My friend Beth and I took one of your Ghost tours on Sept 5th 2005. It was

her birthday. We went on the 9:30 tour. After the tour was over we ventured

back to the Tolomato cemetery. Our guide didn't want to walk over there

since it was raining slightly during our tour so we decided to go take a

peek when the tour was over.

 

 As I was pulling the gate towards me to take a photo through the

gate, my friend Beth was taking a shot of the cemetery sign. At the same

time we were both taking a picture I was blown away by an energy field of

some sort. It was the strangest feeling that I have ever had. Every hair on my

body stood straight up and a total feeling of sadness overcame me.

We both had a very strong feeling to leave.

The picture of the Tolomato sign was taken right at that exact moment.

 

I was asking the spirits if it was OK for me to take their picture,

since our guide told us that that was a polite thing to do, and then WOW!

I couldn't even look at the picture until we got a couple of blocks away. I

don't spook very easily, but that moment will stick in my mind forever.

 

We thought it was very interesting and just wanted to share the photos with

you.

I have to say that my husband and I were always intrigued by the "

tales " of St. Augustine and have been drawn back year after year. I

do have pictures from years past with strange looking things. But

never before have I went to the cemetery at night to take pictures. I

had my digital camera. It had over two hundred pictures.  My husband

first went it to take some pics and immediately on the screen we could

see orbs / shapes...lights.. then I went in. I went in and immediately

my camera would not work. The batteries were fine. I messed with it

and it worked, I got two pics and then something touched my head.

Seriously ...I thought at first it was a bug...but it couldnt have

been , it was a harder touch. Then I thought I noticed a small running

white clear object. I took the pic and lo and behold there it was on

my camera. Something running thru the cemetery.  My camera shut off

and locked. I couldnt get it to do anything. I got nervous and left.

When we turned on my car , which is new it made a horrible noise. All

the way till we past the bridge of lions...then it went away and my

camera turned on.  That is until the next morning , I woke up and

every single picture was erased from my camera. I took the camera to

the camera shop to see what might have happened. He had no answer,

there was no answer. So we will be back again to try once more. 

Previousl to this we had taken the boat trip for the ghost hauntings ,

on the Freedom...it was GREAT! My  girls loved it. St. Augustine has a

magical way of drawing you back , time and time again. And its not the

store front or advertising that does it. Its the unknown .

Several months ago I took your wonderful Ghost tour in St. Augustine.  I

a very enjoyable evening and recieved quiet a surprise when I downloaded

I was at the St. Augustine lighthouse the night of 7-17-05...I am a skeptic of  things such as Ghosts. I used a digital camera I know my lense to have been clean and dry. Once home I viewed the pictures...and this one stuck out to my daughter because it appears that there is a woman with a white vintage gown with dark hair and a  Gibson girl hair style ...she is either standing or in a rocker on the porch of the lighthouse...also many orbs noted of various sizes. I never used the view finder on the camera this night as it was dark and I was really only taking a picture because my daughter who is 12 wanted a picture of it so badly, and a huge reason I am sending this to you is because she insists.

There has to be some sort of scientific explanation.

I was taking pictures Sunday at a 9:00pm ride on one of your tours.  When our tour guide Matt took us over to the little park across the street near the restaurant he said weird things had been happening that night and there was earlier reportings of the swings moving so I thought I would take some pictures and surely in this one something showed up! We always hope that something shows up in our pictures whenever we visit; I'm a high believer of the paranormal, and I would like to know if this is an orb?  Thanks bunches, the tour was great.

The first picture is from in front of the old morgue, and the rest were taken at the cemetery.

We had a great tour guide Karen, she was informative and a great story teller.

This photo was taken on a ghost tour in St. Augustine in July 2005. If you look at the mist you can see a face. The other photos taken that night do not show the mist.

On a recent trip to St Augustine my girlfriend and I went on your riding tour. These are some of the pictures I took....... one that really stuck on to me was PIC6. There weren't any head lights of cars since we were the only one's at the site. But it looks like there are a pair of yellow eyes in the window. None of the other pictures I took had this and when I was checking out the area I didn't see anything that would reflect that back at me. Thank you for an interesting experience.

I recently visited St. Augustine and went on your ghost tour. After looking back through the pictures on our digital camera we discovered that ribbons of light and other images showed up. On the bottom picture next to the girl in the pink shirt's face you can see the image of another person, or ghost! We would like it if you placed these pictures under "Sightings" on your website. We also absolutely enjoyed your tour.(James was our tour guide)

My daughter insists I write you yet once again...she played with the zoom on the computer with this photo...you zoom to a certain point you see a shadow of a female yet zoom in further and she points out a figure of what seems to be a man with his head tilted to the side dark hair possibly a cap a large bushy mustache..and round shaped glasses...I almost laughed myself silly as it looks a bit like Geraldo Rivera...I don't know how to explain this to my daughter and to come up with a logical explanation of the glitch in the picture.....My daughter insists it is a Ghost I captured on film...I still haven't developed my 35mm film 800 speed yet from that night...but I approached it all with the same lack of enthusiasm and belief that ghosts are real....I didn't use the view finder ..just pointed it after making sure the lens was clean and dry...I let you know if anything turns up...

Just thought that I would send these pics to you to see what you all thought about them.  These where taken on June 21, 2005 on your 9:30 walking tour.  My family and I come to Daytona every year in June and drive up for the walking tour we love it.  Please look especially at the 2 pics with the white thing in them that looks like something flying.  You can use them on your sight if you like.  Thanks again for the great time we had there.
